We have just removed a couple of members and all their high scores for posting rude/swearing/profanity in game comments.

Our advertisers make it possible for you to play free games and they will not advertise on websites with such comments.

Do comments in other languages also get removed?

I seem to remember posting Japanese text to some of my high scores in Perfect Pitch (勝利 and 大勝利) which seem to have disappeared completely (along with the scores themselves).

Not that I care about those scores anymore, but if posting in foreign languages is against the rules, I would just like to be 100% clear on that so I may refrain from doing so again.

No we did not remove your scores for foreign language use.

They are buried in there some place, lol.

Thank you for clarifying that point.

I'll admit that I didn't look very hard for those scores – they're outdated anyway.

EDIT: On second thought, those scores of mine really are gone, though. If you didn't remove them, then I wonder what happened to them...

I spoke to one of our programmers and some character only foreign language scores were removed when we did a prune of the database of swear works and very long character only comments last week.

We were trying to eliminate the comments with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! etc in them.

Sorry for that, but we did have the provision that a removed score could not be a high score unless it had swear words in it.

So none of your removed scores were high scores for a particular  game.

Oh, so that's what happened. Thank you for indulging me in my curiosity.

You don't need to apologize. Even if they were high scores, I'm not one to hold a grudge against an administrator for deleting a score at his own discretion.
